Project Description

Wagner Engineering & Survey, Inc. (WES) performed site topographic surveys, utility surveys and monumentation recovery for the design of the Midfield Concourse to accommodate the Airbus A-380. The surveys performed included mapping the relocation of particular buildings on the airport property and layout confirmations for the project. Included in the WES scope of work was a topographic survey of all improvements i.e. buildings, fences and hardscape, visible utilities and leasehold lines. The mapping of the area included the following: bench marks; elevation datum; one-foot contours; the existing surface features, including pavement types (asphalt, concrete) and grade breaks above and below grade utilities based upon surface information; utility meters, tanks, valves, hydrants, vaults, pull-boxes and light poles.
